(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 1st, a delegation from Nghe An Newspaper, led by Ms. Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief, held a working session with the Standing Committee of Cua Lo Town Party Committee to discuss coordination in improving the quality of propaganda, distribution, and use of the Party newspaper.

Representing Cua Lo Town were: Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council; Mr. Doan Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments and agencies. |
In 2016, the Cua Lo Town Party Committee closely coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper in disseminating information on implementing Party resolutions and the socio-economic development of the town.
Over the past year, the Nghe An Newspaper's publications have featured dozens of articles and special features, reflecting and promoting the economic, social, cultural, and tourism development of the coastal town, leaving a deep impression on a wide readership.
In addition, the two sides collaborated on the cualo.vn website (phase 2). All items were completed on schedule and handed over to Cua Lo Town for operation, which is now running smoothly.

Regarding newspaper distribution, the Cua Lo Town Party Committee has basically directed its subordinate Party committees and branches to effectively implement Directive 11-CT/TW of the Politburo on subscribing to and using local Party newspapers. As of the first quarter of 2017, the total number of Nghe An newspapers distributed in Cua Lo town reached 202 copies per issue. However, some Party committees and branches have not yet fully complied with the Directive on subscribing to and using Party newspapers.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Toan, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, affirmed that the newspaper will continue to closely cooperate with Cua Lo Town in propaganda work, aiming to spread the image of the rapidly developing coastal town along with its "brand" as a friendly and hospitable seaside tourist town; an attractive destination for tourists.
A unified plan was reached to develop a publicity framework for the town, initially focusing on the Cua Lo Tourism Festival; coordination with the town authorities was also necessary to change the newspaper distribution method, making it more flexible and suitable to customer preferences, in order to expand newspaper circulation in the area.

In the near future, Nghe An Newspaper will organize training for the team of collaborators at the Cua Lo Town Radio and Television Station to improve the quality of the Cua Lo website; thereby contributing to promoting tourism in the coastal town.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, praised and highly appreciated the proactive and timely work of Nghe An Newspaper in disseminating information about the town in the past period.

The comrade expressed his wish for the newspaper to continue to cooperate closely with the town to promote the image and various aspects of Party building, economy, society, traditional culture, and tourism. In particular, he emphasized the importance of promoting awareness about the marine environment, food safety, and tourism safety in Cua Lo; and the initial preparations for developing Cua Lo into a type 2 coastal tourist town, becoming a growth pole and a key growth driver for the province. He assigned the Town Party Committee's Propaganda Department to review and implement the effective subscription and use of the Party newspaper, while also continuing to improve the quality of the Cua Lo website.
To ensure effective communication in the coming period, the two units will sign a cooperation agreement and develop a specific, focused, and comprehensive communication plan for the entire year of 2017.
