Party and State leaders exercise their right to vote.

This morning, along with voters nationwide, leaders of the Party and State exercised their right to vote, participating in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

At polling station number 2 in Ba Dinh ward (Hanoi), General Secretary To Lam arrived early to exercise his rights and fulfill his civic duty.

Also participating in the voting here were: Standing Member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Central Organization Department Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Department Le Minh Tri, Chief of the Central Party Office Pham Gia Tuc, and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

At polling station number 26, Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi, President Luong Cuong cast his vote.

Also participating in the voting were General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, along with a large number of voters from polling station number 26.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia, along with leaders of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, cast their votes in the election.

At polling station number 21 in Tay Ho ward, Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran exercised their rights and fulfilled their civic duties.

In his conversation with voters, the Prime Minister expressed his hope that voters would exercise their right to self-governance in building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, and for the people; wisely choose worthy representatives to represent their will and aspirations in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; and contribute to building a prosperous, civilized, thriving, and happy country in the new era, where people's lives are increasingly happy and comfortable.

Highly appreciating the election preparation work of Tay Ho ward, especially at polling station No. 21, the Prime Minister requested the Tay Ho Ward Election Committee to strive to organize early voting for voters; creating the best conditions for 100% of voters to exercise their rights and civic duties.

If voters are unable to come to the polling station, ballot boxes must be delivered to their homes so they can cast their votes. At polling stations, officials should be stationed to assist and guide people in exercising their rights and fulfilling their duties.

At polling station number 14, Do Van Day Secondary School, Hoc Mon commune, Ho Chi Minh City, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Election Council, along with a large number of citizens, cast their votes.

Exercising their right to vote were Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang, several members of the Central Committee of the Party, and a large number of voters.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man exercised his right to vote.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his joy and honor at being able to personally cast his vote in Hoc Mon commune for the election of National Assembly representatives and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Addressing voters nationwide, the Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed: “Voting is a sacred right and responsibility of all citizens. The election of the 16th National Assembly is even more significant as it marks the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly. I am very confident that voters nationwide will turn out in large numbers, vote correctly and completely, and choose talented and virtuous individuals worthy of being elected as representatives to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, so that our country can enter a new era, an era of national progress, and successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.”
