Throughout the revolutionary stages of the Party and the nation, with the aspiration and belief in the truth "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom", with the spirit of "Determination to die for the Fatherland", generations of outstanding Vietnamese people have bravely volunteered to go to battle, fought bravely, sacrificed themselves to carry out their duties, for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, for the peace and happiness of the people. Over the past 76 years, implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, our Party, State and people have always cared for, taken care of, and done well the work of repaying gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives. The number of people with meritorious services has been increasingly expanded, and preferential treatment has been increasingly improved, linked to ensuring fairness and social consensus.
