On the occasion of the 127th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2017), on the morning of May 18, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

Attending the ceremony to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh were: General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Comrades: Former General Secretaries Nong Duc Manh and Le Kha Khieu; former Chairmen of the National Assembly Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Sinh Hung; former leaders of the Party and State; members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, and Vice Prime Ministers; veteran revolutionaries and leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, and mass organizations also attended the memorial ceremony.

The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Party and State leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and delegates expressed their profound respect and remembrance of the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the brilliant leader of the Party and the people, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and a world cultural figure.

Following that, the delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and paid respects to the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs."

Earlier that morning, delegations from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security, the city of Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Steering Committee for Coordinating Activities of the Ba Dinh Historical and Cultural Relic Complex laid wreaths at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs.
