Party and State leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum

On the occasion of the 127th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2017), on the morning of May 18, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

Attending the ceremony to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh were: General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan.

Comrades: Former General Secretaries Nong Duc Manh and Le Kha Khieu; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Sinh Hung; former Party and State leaders; Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, National Assembly Vice Chairmen, and Deputy Prime Ministers; veteran revolutionaries and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, and organizations attended the ceremony.

The delegation's wreath bears the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

The leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and delegates expressed their respect and tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Party and people, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and the world cultural celebrity.

Next, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

The delegation's wreath bears the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs".

On the same morning, delegations from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Steering Committee for Coordinating Activities of the Ba Dinh Historical-Cultural Relic Cluster came to lay wreaths, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and lay wreaths at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.
