The delegation expressed their profound respect and remembrance of the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, leader, and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

To commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026), on the morning of February 3, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Party, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and paid respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

Attending the memorial ceremony were: Politburo member and General Secretary To Lam; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

Also attending the memorial service were former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; and former Chairpersons of the National Assembly: Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, Vice Prime Ministers, along with many other Party and State leaders, former Party and State leaders, and leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, and organizations attended the memorial ceremony.

The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Over 96 years of development and growth, the Party has led our people in upholding the banner of national independence and socialism, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges, and achieving great accomplishments.

The leadership of the Party, the collective efforts and unity of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army create a combined strength for the country to continue overcoming difficulties and challenges.

The 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam also coincides with the nationwide celebration of the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress was a historically significant event, demonstrating the strategic vision and high political determination of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam in leading the country into a new era of national progress.

The success of the Congress has brought great confidence and expectations to the entire nation. Under the leadership of the Party, the entire people and army are determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress, for a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.

Following that, Party and State leaders laid wreaths in commemoration of the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

The delegates bowed in remembrance of the nation's outstanding sons and daughters who bravely fought, sacrificed, and dedicated their lives to the struggle for independence, freedom, and national unity. The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs."

Earlier that morning, delegations from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; the Central Party Committee of Public Security - Ministry of Public Security, etc., came to lay wreaths at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs.
