(Baonghean.vn) – On September 14th, leaders of Anh Son district visited and provided financial support to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cay in Hamlet 7, Thach Son commune, whose house collapsed due to the impact of typhoon No. 4.

Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 4, Anh Son district experienced heavy rain and strong winds in recent days. At approximately 3:15 AM on September 14, 2016, heavy rain caused the complete collapse of the single-story house belonging to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cay (76 years old). At that time, only Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cay and her granddaughter, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (11 years old), were sleeping inside when they heard the sound of the landslide. Mrs. Cay bravely called her granddaughter to run out of the house. Just as they reached the door, the house collapsed, burying it and all the belongings inside with a large amount of earth, rocks, and concrete. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Leaders of the Anh Son District People's Committee and the Anh Son Red Cross Society presented a donation to Mrs. Cay.

After receiving the news, the leaders of the District People's Committee and the District Red Cross Society visited to offer encouragement and presented Mrs. Cay with 2 million VND, initially helping the family with some of the costs of repairing their house and stabilizing their lives.
