US and UK leaders discuss Syria and the migration crisis.
The White House said that during the phone call, President Obama reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to continue supporting those affected by the violence in Syria and around the world, as well as contributing to alleviating the pressure from the migration crisis in Europe.

The two leaders also discussed the situation in Syria and the need for concrete steps to improve access to humanitarian aid and build trust in the political process.
Obama announced that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will represent Washington at the conference on supporting Syria and the Middle East, scheduled to be held on February 4 in London.
Additionally, the two leaders discussed plans related to the Refugee Conference, which the US leader will chair and is expected to be held at the United Nations General Assembly in September.
During the phone call, President Obama "reaffirmed America's support for a strong United Kingdom within a strong EU."
For his part, Prime Minister Cameron also updated Obama on the ongoing talks with EU leaders regarding reforms to Britain's membership terms in the bloc.
Cameron assessed the reform proposals recently announced by European Council President Donald Tusk aimed at keeping Britain in the European Union as "a real step forward" in four areas where Britain needs to change, but acknowledged that much work remains to be done.
For a long time, the US has supported Britain playing a central role in the EU, while warning that this "special relationship" would be shaken if London left the union.
