Russian leaders are being 'barred' from Romania and Hungary.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin's visit to Moldova on July 28 was disrupted when his plane was banned from Romanian and Hungarian airspace.
Russian news agencies quoted Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin as saying that he and other Russian officials were on a commercial flight to Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. However, two European Union (EU) member states, Romania and Hungary, banned the plane from entering their airspace.

The plane subsequently had to land in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, due to running out of fuel.
According to the Interfax news agency, Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin said that he and many Russian officials have had to use commercial aircraft for travel after Romanian authorities closed its airspace to planes carrying Russian officials since 2014.
Rogozin is also one of the Russian leaders who have been banned from visas by European Union countries since 2014 following the annexation of Crimea.
On July 28, the Romanian Foreign Ministry confirmed that it had denied permission for a commercial aircraft carrying the Russian Deputy Prime Minister to enter its airspace.
Late yesterday, Mr. Rogozin also posted on Twitter criticizing Romania's actions, which he said put the lives of the passengers on the plane, including women and children, at risk. He also warned the Romanian government of retaliatory measures from Russia.
Meanwhile, on July 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a protest to the Romanian diplomatic mission in Moscow, demanding that Romania investigate the incident.
