On the evening of June 24th, leaders of the Nghe An Department of Health visited and encouraged nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong (an employee of the Quy Chau District Health Center who was assaulted by thugs while on duty caring for and treating patients) who is currently being treated at the Provincial Friendship General Hospital.
Associate Professor Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, kindly visited and encouraged nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong to quickly stabilize her health, regain her spirits, and continue contributing to protecting the health of the people.
After three days of intensive treatment, nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong's health has recovered well. However, she is still not mentally stable and still suffers from certain psychological traumas... Nurse Nguyen Thi Phuong will be discharged from the hospital and return to work in one or two days.
