Vinh City leaders inspect flood control work before storm No. 3
On the morning of September 6, working delegations from Vinh city inspected the situation of flood and storm prevention No. 3 in the area.
Participating in the working delegations were comrades: Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee and related units.
The delegations inspected the response work to storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) at the Ben Thuy ward knitting collective area, the Black Bridge pumping station in the south of the city, the drainage bar in Vinh market area, and the Cua Nam pumping station.
These are vulnerable areas, often flooded, pumping stations have the ability to drain water for the city during heavy rains.

Faced with the complicated weather situation, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requested the Party Committees of wards and communes, and functional units to focus on directing flood and storm prevention and control work, not to be subjective, not to let passive and unexpected problems occur, especially in places with high risk of landslides and flooding; collective housing areas and degraded works.
City leaders require all sectors to ensure the safety of construction projects, especially high-rise buildings; check the safety of billboards, large panels, etc. to ensure the safety of people's lives and minimize property damage.
