Provincial leaders celebrate Christmas at Cau Ram Diocese
(Baonghean.vn) - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh hopes that priests, dignitaries, and officials of Cau Ram diocese (Vinh City) will continue to encourage parishioners to boost production and business, and make more contributions to socio-economic development.
On December 21, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and celebrated Christmas at Cau Ram Parish, Cua Nam Ward (Vinh City).
Accompanying were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; comrades representing the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Construction and the Religious Affairs Committee - Department of Home Affairs.

Give a basket of fresh flowersMerry ChristmasOn behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Le Hong Vinh congratulated the priests, dignitaries, officials and the entire parishioners of Cau Ram Diocese for a peaceful, happy and full of God's grace Christmas. He affirmed that Cau Ram Diocese in general and Cau Ram Parish in particular have an important position on the religious map of the province because of its long history of formation and development as well as its contributions to the development of economic, cultural and social life.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was also pleased to inform the priests, dignitaries, and officials of Cau Ram Diocese about some of the province's socio-economic development results. In 2020, along with the whole country, Nghe An was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters such as drought, forest fires, and floods. These factors have negatively affected all areas of socio-economic life, making people's lives difficult.

However, with the efforts in direction and management of Party committees, authorities at all levels and the spirit of solidarity and creativity of the people, Nghe An province has gradually overcome difficulties and challenges. Thanks to the determination and consensus in prevention and controlCovid-19 epidemic, especially implementing social distancing well and organizing centralized quarantine for cases returning from epidemic areas, strictly controlling border routes so that no one is infected with Covid-19.
Production and business activities are maintained, basic aspects of life remain stable, creating favorable conditions for reasonable growth. Nghe An is considered one of 19 provinces and cities with good growth in 2020, creating favorable momentum for development in the following years.
These results have no small contribution fromthe priests, dignitaries, officials and parishioners of the whole province, including Cau Ram Diocese. Through this, we hope that the priests, dignitaries and officials of Cau Ram Diocese will continue to encourage parishioners to promote production and business, and make more contributions to the socio-economic development of Vinh province and city. Especially, actively participate and respond to the movement of All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
