Provincial leaders attended the opening ceremony and beat the drum to welcome the new school year.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 5th, delegations from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at various schools.
On the morning of September 5th, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the 2019-2020 school year at Phan Dang Luu High School in Yen Thanh district. Also attending the ceremony were representatives from the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Yen Thanh district, the school's Board of Directors, teachers, staff, and students.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, Phan Dang Luu High School achieved many good results in teaching and learning, continuing to affirm its leading position in the education sector of Nghe An province. In the recent provincial excellent student competition, the school had 24 students winning awards, ranking 3rd in Nghe An province, behind Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and Huynh Thuc Khang High School.
In the Science and Technology Innovation Competition, the school had one project among the seven projects from Nghe An province that competed at the national level. In the 2019 National High School Graduation Examination, the school excellently ranked 8th in the entire province.

In addition, Phan Dang Luu High School needs to regularly focus on building a healthy educational environment, a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, ensuring traffic safety; educating students in life skills, integrating education for all students; and proactively advising Party committees, government authorities, and the Education sector on building school facilities in a standardized and modern direction.

Attending the opening ceremony at Quang Tien Secondary School (Thai Hoa Town),Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - expressed his wish that the school's management staff, teachers, and students would continue to strive and achieve many high results in the 2019-2020 school year.
Quang Tien Secondary School is located on Tra Lan Street, in Quang Phu Ward, Quang Tien Commune (Thai Hoa Town). The school currently has 34 staff members, teachers, and employees; 14 classes, with 564 students.

During the 2018-2019 school year, the staff, teachers, and students of Quang Tien Secondary School successfully completed their assigned tasks. The school was recognized as an outstanding advanced labor unit and received a Certificate of Commendation from the Provincial People's Committee.
For the 2019-2020 school year, Quang Tien Secondary School will continue to maintain its achievements and focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning, and effectively adapting to the new general education curriculum.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, presented a flower basket from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the school; and gave gifts to the students.
In his congratulatory speech to the teachers and students of the school, Comrade Hoang Viet Duong acknowledged the achievements the school has made. He also expressed his hope that the school's management staff, teachers, employees, and students will continue to strive and achieve even greater success in the 2019-2020 school year.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested that the team of administrators and teachers should actively innovate management practices and teaching methods in a creative way, effectively implement the movements and campaigns of the Education sector; contributing to improving the overall quality of education for students.

For students, it is necessary to uphold the spirit of overcoming difficulties, diligently studying, improving knowledge, cultivating morality, becoming good children, excellent students, and future masters of the country; at the same time, Party committees and governments at all levels should continue to pay attention to and create conditions for schools to effectively carry out teaching and learning.

Commending and congratulating the teachers and students of Cua Lo High School on the opening day of the 2019-2020 school year, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the teachers and students of Cua Lo High School in the past period; and recognized the attention and support of all levels and sectors for the school's educational work. Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa expressed his hope that in the new school year, the teachers and students of the school will focus on successfully implementing several key areas, such as:
Firstly, continue to effectively implement the campaigns to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh, with each teacher serving as a role model of morality, self-learning, and creativity.
Secondly, we need to pay more attention to the quality of comprehensive education, including political and ideological education, traditional culture, ethics, lifestyle, life skills, awareness, and responsibility for students.
Thirdly, continue to innovate and improve the quality of school management by strengthening the autonomy and accountability of school leaders, innovating and evaluating based on the development of students' competencies; paying attention to the quality of the teaching staff, and focusing on ensuring school security, order, and health care.

Fourth, local Party committees, authorities, mass organizations, and the people need to pay more attention to and care for education; directing departments, agencies, and mass organizations to coordinate with schools to provide timely assistance and support, creating all possible conditions to ensure that students can study with peace of mind.
Fifth, the school needs to continue to make greater efforts to take care of and maintain its facilities, create a green, clean, and beautiful environment, and maintain its status as a national standard school.

Also at the ceremony, representatives from Squadron 2, Border Guard of the province, a unit affiliated with the school, presented scholarships under the "Helping Children Go to School" program, providing 500,000 VND per month to students under their sponsorship until the end of their schooling. Several organizations and businesses in Cua Lo town also donated gifts to outstanding students and students who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies at Cua Lo High School.
