Leaders of Nghe An province visit and extend New Year greetings to the 4th Military Region Command.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - led the delegation. Accompanying him were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Ho Le Ngoc - Head of the Provincial Party Internal Affairs Committee; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Pham The Tung - Director of the Provincial Police; and leaders from the Provincial Party Committee Office, the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office; the Provincial Military Command; and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

The delegation was received by Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4, and leaders of the Military Region's agencies.

2021 was the first year of implementing the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels, but it was also a year of many difficulties, especially due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this context, upholding the spirit of solidarity and unity, the Party Committee, government, and people of Nghe An have strived to overcome challenges and achieved many remarkable results in various fields such as growth rate, budget revenue, per capita income, new rural development; and COVID-19 prevention and control in the province.

The above results reflect the tremendous efforts of the people and the political system of the province; as well as the timely and effective attention and assistance of the Party Committee, the Command and the armed forces of Military Region 4 to Nghe An in many aspects.

In particular, Military Region 4 has provided close and specific assistance and guidance in building a strong and comprehensive provincial armed force and establishing a solid defense zone.

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Tiger 2022, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - extended his sincere and profound gratitude to the leaders of the Party Committee, the Command of Military Region 4, and the armed forces of Military Region 4.

Congratulating the Party Committee, Command, and armed forces of Military Region 4 on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022 (Year of the Tiger), the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee expressed his hope that the province would continue to receive the affection, attention, and assistance of the Military Region in the future; thereby contributing to Nghe An's rapid and sustainable development and the successful implementation of the goals set forth in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Command of Military Region 4, Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4 - affirmed that the armed forces of Military Region 4 have always received the great affection of the Party Committee, Government, and people of Nghe An province; and the very close, strong, and effective coordination. This is a great encouragement for the officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

Expressing joy and enthusiasm over the achievements the province has made over the past year under the leadership, guidance, and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the political system at all levels of the province, Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung assessed that this reflects the province's outstanding efforts despite many difficulties and challenges.

The Political Commissar of Military Region 4 affirmed that the armed forces of the Military Region will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the Party Committee, Government, and people of the province; strengthening close coordination between the two sides to effectively fulfill the tasks of both the Military Region and the province.

Military Region 4 also hopes to continue receiving the attention and support of the province to successfully complete its tasks, especially this year, with the two sides coordinating to organize the Nghe An provincial defense zone exercise and carry out military and national defense tasks with good results.

On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 Tran Vo Dung wished the Party Committee, government, and people of Nghe An a peaceful, happy, prosperous, and united new year, successfully achieving the goals of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Nguyen Van Thong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the province will always strive to coordinate and cooperate with units of Military Region 4 stationed in the area; and at the same time, continue to strengthen the leadership of the provincial armed forces in advising and effectively implementing the tasks of the Military Region in the area; thereby contributing to ensuring national defense and security; contributing to the Military Region's mission; and serving the development of the province.
