Nghe An Provincial Leaders Visit Masan MB Factory on the occasion of Workers' Month 2024
(Baonghean.vn) - Within the framework of the Launching Ceremony in response to "Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health", "Workers' Month" in 2024, Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council, together with the working delegation, visited the Factory of Masan MB Company Limited.
In Nghe An province, workoccupational safety and healthand the workers' movement for many years has always been interested and focused on by all levels, sectors, production and business establishments in the area and achieved many positive results, helping to ensure health and policies for workers.
On May 6, the Nghe An Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSH) in coordination with the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) organized a launching ceremony to respond to the "Month of Action on OSH" and "Workers' Month" in 2024. The theme of the "Month of Action on OSH" in 2024 of Nghe An province is: "Strengthening the assurance of occupational safety and health at the workplace and in the supply chain"; the theme of "Workers' Month" is "Workers' Solidarity - Implementing the Resolution".
As a member company of Masan Consumer Corporation, Masan MB has been evaluated by its leaders over the years for doing well in occupational safety and health as well as ensuring the health and benefits of its employees.
From 2022 to present, every year, the enterprise has created regular jobs for about 550-600 employees with 100% of employees signing labor contracts, paying social insurance with a monthly social insurance contribution of about 1.4 billion VND. With a revenue of 5,846 billion VND in 2023, Masan MB contributed 318 billion VND to the state budget.
Ensuring the lives of employees is also important to Masan MB. In addition to the average income of employees increasing steadily over the years, there are also accompanying bonuses and benefits. Currently, Masan MB is applying the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018), the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), the Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2018) and the Laboratory according to ISO 17025 standards.

In addition to developing production and business activities, Masan MB has annually contributed billions of VND to charity and social security programs in Nghe An province. In 2022 alone, right after the historic flash flood occurred in Ky Son border district, the company coordinated with the provincial police to support 1 billion VND and Masan consumer products worth 300 million VND.
During the past Lunar New Year, Masan MB has given Tet gifts to poor households and policy beneficiaries in disadvantaged districts such as Tuong Duong, Tan Ky, and Quy Hop with a value equivalent to VND 1.5 billion (in 2023) and VND 1.6 billion (in 2024). Recently, Masan MB also presented gifts of Masan products and personal items to children at Huu Khuong Primary School, Tuong Duong District.
