Quang Ninh provincial leaders visit the Truong Bon historical site.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 5th, a delegation from the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Thi Hoang, visited and offered flowers and incense at the Truong Bon historical site in My Son commune, Do Luong district.

Accompanying the delegation, on the Nghe An provincial side were Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, and representatives of the leadership of Party committees and relevant departments and agencies.

In remembrance of the 1,240 officers and soldiers of the 9 Youth Volunteer Brigades of the General Youth Volunteer Brigade fighting against the US for national salvation, especially the heroic sacrifice of the 13 Youth Volunteer soldiers of the "Steel Squad," the delegation respectfully laid wreaths of fresh flowers and offered incense to the spirits of the fallen heroes who created the legend of Truong Bon in the great national struggle for national defense.

Later that afternoon, officials and staff of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee visited the Le Hong Phong Memorial Site in Hung Thong commune, Hung Nguyen district, to respectfully commemorate the outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh and a prominent communist fighter of the Vietnamese revolution.

Also in Hung Nguyen district, the delegation visited the Soviet Nghe Tinh Historical Site, held a ceremony to pay tribute and express gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the protest on September 12, 1930.

At each destination, the members of the delegation had the opportunity to review the glorious history of our nation's defense, and pledged to always remain united.To be absolutely loyal to the Party's leadership, to actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, and to work together to build and protect the Fatherland.
