(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 31st, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to a number of departments, agencies, and units working during the last days of 2015.
The delegation included Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to the following units: the State Treasury, the Tax Department, the Customs Department, and the Department of Finance.
During their visits, provincial leaders inquired about the work situation and presented flowers and gifts to officials and staff of departments and agencies to encourage them to work actively and effectively to serve the people, especially in the final days of 2015.

During the year, it conducted transactions with 3,920 units, managed 14,633 accounts, and had an operating turnover of 510 trillion VND, ensuring absolute safety of money and assets under its management.

In 2015, the total number of import-export businesses reached approximately 200, processing over 20,000 customs declarations, nearly double the number in 2014. Import-export turnover reached US$723 million; 122 cases of trade fraud were detected and handled, an increase of 22 cases compared to 2014. The amount of tax assessed after customs clearance inspection reached nearly VND 21 billion; revenue from import-export activities reached nearly VND 1007 billion, achieving 109% of the assigned plan.

In 2015, the Finance sector faced many difficulties in budget spending due to the province's numerous large-scale activities such as land clearance for key projects, new rural construction, festivals, and major events. By the afternoon of December 31st, budget revenue had reached and exceeded the projected target of 8,593 billion VND, including 7,586 billion VND from domestic revenue, 967 billion VND from land revenue, and 10,038 billion VND from lottery revenue.
