North Korean leader Kim Jong-un 'missing'?
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Dailystar, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is believed to have gone into hiding, raising concerns that a missile attack on the US territory of Guam may be imminent.
The nuclear-armed nation's leader has not been seen in public for 12 days, since his last appearance when he celebrated a successful ICBM test on July 28.
And before the July 28 missile test, he also did not appear in public for 15 days, a period when Pyongyang was preparing for its second missile test.

But this week Pyongyang threatened to test-fire medium- to long-range ballistic missiles toward Guam, a US territory in the Pacific Ocean, in a sharp response to US President Donald Trump’s threat to unleash “fire and fury” if North Korea continued to threaten to attack the country.
And today, the US leader went even further, warning that North Korea would be “very, very scared”. And with “big fat tyrant” Kim Jong-un missing again, there are concerns he may be preparing to attack Guam, a move that could spark all-out war.
However, he may go into hiding again due to fears of an assassination plot against him, which Pyongyang has recently accused South Korea and the United States of planning.
Analyst Gordon Chang predicted in April that Kim may have gone into hiding for so long because he felt his life was in danger. “His father, Kim Jong-il, disappeared from public view for about six weeks in 2003 during the Iraq war,” Chang said. “Kim Jong-un loves public acclaim, and something similar is likely to happen if he goes into hiding.”
Another reason for Kim’s disappearance could be his serious illness. Last year, he disappeared for six weeks amid rumors that he was seriously ill, and in 2014 he missed a major event due to “unstable physical condition”./.
