Leaders of Dong Loc commune and Cua Lo ward extend their congratulations to the Vinh Diocese Bishopric on the occasion of Christmas.
On the occasion of Christmas 2025 and in preparation for welcoming the New Year 2026, on December 18th, a delegation from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Loc commune and Cua Lo ward visited and extended New Year greetings to the Bishop's Office of the Vinh Diocese.
The delegation included comrades: Duong Dinh Chinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Loc commune; Ngo Duc Kien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Cua Lo ward.

The delegation was received by Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long - Bishop of the Vinh Diocese; along with priests, dignitaries, nuns, and representatives from centers under the Diocese.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, on behalf of the delegation, Comrade Duong Dinh Chinh extended best wishes to Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long, the auxiliary bishops, priests, religious, and all Catholic people in Nghe An province; wishing them a peaceful, happy Christmas season filled with God's blessings.


The Party Secretary of Dong Loc commune expressed his joy at the achievements of the Vinh Diocese in 2025; acknowledged the companionship and close ties of the clergy, officials, and Catholic people with the Party committees and authorities at all levels; promoted the spirit of solidarity between Catholics and non-Catholics, actively participated in economic development, building new rural areas, ensuring social welfare, and maintaining security and order at the grassroots level. At the same time, he hoped that the Bishop of the Vinh Diocese, the clergy, religious, and Catholic people would continue to uphold the spirit of "Reverence for God, love for the country," unite, and work together with the local government to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals.
On behalf of the Vinh Diocese, Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long expressed his joy in welcoming the delegation to visit and offer Christmas greetings. The Bishop affirmed that the relationship between the Vinh Diocese and the Party Committee and government of Nghe An province in general, and Dong Loc commune and Cua Lo ward in particular, is becoming increasingly close and developing well.
With the attention and support of the authorities at all levels, religious activities in the area have proceeded smoothly; the faith life has been maintained; and the legitimate aspirations of the parishioners have been addressed. The Vinh Diocese and Catholic people will continue to effectively implement the motto "living the Gospel in the heart of the nation," uniting, accompanying, and contributing together to building and developing the homeland and the country.
