Creating 300 illegal websites to profit tens of billions of VND.
The individuals involved in the network disseminated obscene materials, created and managed nearly 300 pornographic websites that attracted a large number of visitors, thereby earning tens of billions of dong in illicit profits from advertising.
The Security Investigation Agency of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain 5 individuals, including: Tran Tan, born in 1999, residing in Quang Trung commune, Bac Ninh province; Nguyen Van Tuan, born in 1994, residing in Thu Lam commune, Hanoi city; Nguyen Duc Hong, born in 2005, residing in Thong Nhat ward, Phu Tho province; Duong Van Thang, born in 1992, and Duong Van Khuong, born in 1990, both residing in Kha Son commune, Thai Nguyen province.

These individuals were part of a network that disseminated obscene materials and created and managed nearly 300 pornographic websites, led by Vu Van Thin (born in 1988, residing in Thai Nguyen province). He was prosecuted by the Security Investigation Agency of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police on July 9, 2025.
The perpetrators' modus operandi was to exploit the internet and advanced electronic and technological means to upload pornographic and obscene videos to hundreds of websites, aiming to attract a large number of visitors and thereby earn money from advertising for online gambling websites and applications, thereby illegally profiting tens of billions of VND.
The actions of these individuals were deemed particularly dangerous to society because the dissemination of obscene materials seriously violated traditional customs and social morality, negatively impacting the awareness and lifestyles of young people, especially teenagers.
Currently, the Security Investigation Agency of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and expand the case to strictly handle all related individuals in accordance with the law.
