Three family members (father and two sons) drowned after their fishing boat capsized.
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing on a dam, their boat capsized, tragically drowning a father and his two children. The incident recently occurred in Nam Thanh commune (Nam Dan district).
According to local residents, at around 3 PM on November 18th, Mr. Pham Tr. (39 years old), residing in Hamlet 6, Nam Thanh Commune, along with his two young children: Pham Huu Phu Q. (6 years old) and Pham Thi QA (4 years old), were fishing in a boat on the Rao Bang dam in Nam Thanh Commune, Nam Dan District.
While traveling towards the middle of the dam, the motorboat piloted by Mr. Tr. unfortunately capsized, causing the father and his two children to drown.
Immediately afterwards, authorities and local residents promptly organized rescue efforts on the dam.
At 7 PM, the search team found and recovered the body of Pham Huu Phu Q. Three hours later, the body of Mr. Tr. was found.
The search for the body of little Pham Thi QA continued throughout last night, and at 5:50 a.m. this morning (November 19), the authorities found it.
It is known that Mr. Tr. had previously worked abroad as an expatriate worker. Currently, his family is engaged in pig farming and contracting a pond for raising fish. He and his wife have three children.
