Boat capsizes in New York: At least 3 dead, 2 injured.
According to BNO News, a boat capsized in New York City at noon on February 23 (local time), resulting in three deaths and two injuries, one of whom is in critical condition.

Multiple agencies, including the New York Police Department (NYPD), the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), and the U.S. Coast Guard, responded to the scene following an emergency call reporting a capsized boat around noon on February 23. The incident occurred near the Ambrose Canal, off the coast of Staten Island.
The FDNY said there were six people on board the capsized boat. Five of them were taken to hospital, where three were pronounced dead, one is in stable condition, and the other is in critical condition.
It is still unclear exactly what happened, but the New York Police Department (NYPD) said there was no indication that another vessel had struck the boat. The investigation is ongoing.
