Provincial Federation of Labor deploys plan for Workers' Month 2022

At the Conference, Ms. Phan Thi Trang - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor discussed the Draft Regulation on decentralization of personnel management. Based on the regulations of the Party, the State, the General Confederation and the Provincial Party Committee and the practical situation of the province, the conference participants discussed and clarified the legal bases. To supplement some practical contents, the Standing Committee authorized the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to promptly resolve.

Regarding the content of assigning civil servants to positions in 2022, delegates had 6 opinions with practical advice. The conference reached a high consensus on the basis of ensuring that the assignment of civil servants to positions must be suitable for the job position while ensuring the rights of cadres and specialists.

Delegates also contributed ideas on the project of developing union members and establishinggrassroots unionIdentifying this as a vital, urgent, and long-term issue, the delegates focused on discussing methods, resources, ways, and mechanisms to attract union members to the union organization and establish new grassroots unions.

The conference also gave opinions on the criteria for scoring and classifying districts and sectors in 2022; the establishment plan, and the draft Notice of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term.

In the face of the complicated and unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2022 Workers' Month activities focus on implementing specific and meaningful activities that contribute to enhancing the position of trade unions while ensuring epidemic prevention.

For district-level trade unions, in addition to promoting regular and effective activities according to the annual plan, units focus on 5 basic contents: Propagating the Party and State's guidelines and policies on the working class and trade union organizations; activities to care for and support workers, implementing the program "Coming to workers' and laborers' boarding houses"; guiding grassroots trade unions to negotiate, amend and supplement the Collective Labor Agreement; launching the response to the "Program of 1 million initiatives, efforts, overcoming difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the pandemic"; organizing the forum "Enterprises for workers - workers for enterprises" and promoting the development of union members, establishing grassroots trade unions.

Regarding the Regulations on the operation of the team of reporters and social opinion investigators, it is agreed to establish it at the Provincial Federation of Labor level with 15 comrades.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Kha Van Tam highly appreciated the opinions and suggestions of the delegates. He assigned the specialized committees of Organization and Women's Propaganda to absorb the opinions of the delegates, promptly edit, supplement and complete the draft projects and plans to ensure quality and effectiveness.
