Incense offering ceremony in memory of Hung Kings
President Luong Cuong and leaders of the Party, State and Phu Tho province offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary in 2025.
On the morning of April 7 (March 10, At Ty year) - Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province, on behalf of compatriots and soldiers nationwide and overseas Vietnamese, solemnly held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings.
Attending the incense offering ceremony were President Luong Cuong; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, along with leaders of a number of central and local ministries, branches, Phu Tho province and people.
From 5am, thousands of people were present early waiting to offer incense. The organizing committee arranged forces to ensure security and order from the central festival yard to the temple gate.

At around 6:15 a.m., amidst the resounding ceremonial music, the incense offering procession departed from the ceremonial yard through the Nghi Mon Gate, the Lower Temple, the Middle Temple, and up to the Upper Temple.
Leading the way was the honor guard carrying the national flag, the association flag and a wreath bearing the words “Forever grateful to the Hung Kings for their contributions to building the country”. Following them was a group of young women carrying incense, flowers, offerings and 100 young men symbolizing the descendants of Lac and Hong.



With a sincere heart of gratitude to the ancestors, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's morality of "remembering the source of water", President Luong Cuong and other Party and State leaders entered the Upper Palace to offer incense and flowers to express their deep gratitude to the ancestors who built and defended the country so that their descendants could continue the tradition of building a rich and civilized Vietnam, moving forward into a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.


In the sacred moment of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, at Kinh Thien Palace on the top of Nghia Linh Mountain, Mr. Bui Van Quang, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee read a memorial speech for the Hung Kings.
The content of the congratulatory speech expressed deep gratitude to the Hung Kings and our ancestors who had contributed to building and defending the country; and respectfully reported to the souls of our ancestors about the great achievements that our entire Party, people and army have achieved in the cause of innovation, integration and development of the country.
Before the heroic spirits of our ancestors, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province are honored to represent our compatriots nationwide and overseas Vietnamese to preserve our ancestors' mausoleums, unite as one, build our homeland to become increasingly prosperous, and take care of the restoration and embellishment of places of worship for the descendants of Lac Hong to worship for generations to come.


Immediately after the delegation offered incense, many people began their pilgrimage, bringing offerings from the ceremony yard to the Upper Temple to burn incense to express gratitude to King Hung.
