Official welcoming ceremony for Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu in Vientiane.
Following the official welcoming ceremony at the headquarters of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Vilay Lakhamphong and Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Tran Cam Tu held talks.

According to the VNA special correspondent, on the morning of April 9, the official welcoming ceremony for Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu and the high-level Vietnamese delegation on their official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic took place solemnly at the headquarters of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party in Vientiane.
Comrade Vilay Lakhamphong, member of the Political Bureau and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, presided over the welcoming ceremony.
The motorcade carrying Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu arrived at the headquarters of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. Comrade Vilay Lakhamphong, Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, came to the car door to welcome Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu.
Next, Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Vilay Lakhamphong and Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu cordially greeted and introduced the officials of both countries present at the welcoming ceremony.
Following the official welcoming ceremony at the headquarters of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Vilay Lakhamphong and Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Tran Cam Tu held talks.
Earlier that morning, immediately after arriving in Vientiane, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee Tran Cam Tu and the high-level Vietnamese delegation laid wreaths at the Monument to the Unknown Soldiers in Vientiane, commemorating and paying tribute to the outstanding sons and daughters of the Lao people who fell in the cause of liberating, protecting, and building the Lao nation.
