Book launch and release ceremony by General Secretary To Lam
This book is a valuable document that vividly reflects the achievements and historical lessons learned by the Party in leading the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in general, protecting national security, and ensuring social order and safety in particular; meeting the urgent demands of building socialism and firmly defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new era of development - the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
On the afternoon of February 3rd, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Central Party Office, and the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, organized a ceremony to introduce and release the book "Absolute Loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State, and the People - The Shining Character of a Revolutionary Police Officer" by General, Professor, and Doctor To Lam - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); contributing to promoting the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and the Resolutions of the Central Committee Meetings of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Comrade General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Ministry, and Minister of Public Security, presided over the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang stated that the book is not only a valuable document but also clearly reflects the great ideas and profound vision, supplementing and developing the Party's understanding and theoretical thinking on protecting security and order.
According to the Minister of Public Security, in relation to the country's politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, and foreign affairs, the book serves as a compass, providing comprehensive direction for the People's Public Security in combat and force building in the coming years.

This is also a task for Party committees and local authorities at all levels in leading and managing the work of protecting security and order, motivating, encouraging, and inspiring patriotism, and guiding the people to actively participate in the cause of protecting the Fatherland in general, and the cause of protecting security and order in particular.
To widely disseminate the book's content, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that Party committees, leaders, and commanders of the Public Security forces at all levels pay attention to publicizing and disseminating the book's content.
The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Central Party Office, the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and theorists should use various methods to disseminate and popularize the content of the book, spreading it strongly throughout the political system and among the entire population, maximizing the book's value for the cause of national construction and defense.

Previously, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Central Party Office, and the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, organized a press conference to introduce the book.
Accordingly, the book, comprising 766 pages, includes 80 articles, speeches, and interview responses selected from over 500 submissions, along with 71 photographs vividly reflecting Comrade To Lam's visits and work at police units, localities, and grassroots levels during his tenure as Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Ministry and Minister of Public Security.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung affirmed: The book reflects the author's consistent thinking in creatively applying, developing, and protecting Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Public Security force, closely linked to national defense and foreign affairs, effectively serving the cause of the country's socio-economic and cultural development, proactively and actively integrating into the international community, building national unity, and continuously enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.
The book also makes a significant contribution to improving the effectiveness of political and ideological education, helping cadres, Party members, soldiers, and the people to better understand Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's guidelines, policies, and viewpoints, and the State's laws and regulations on national security and social order.
This provides a rich source of materials and a system of scientific arguments to guide research, theoretical development, practical summation, education and training of cadres, and the education of the glorious revolutionary heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force. Above all, it demonstrates Comrade To Lam's responsibility, dedication, and devotion to the country and people for the cause of building and firmly defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new era.
