After a hiatus from singing, Le Hoang of The Men group has built a solid business career, owns an impressive fortune and has a happy family with his wife and two children.
From the music stage to the business world
After the success of two live shows in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh, the band The Men, consisting of two members Le Hoang and Tien Dung, has made an impressive comeback. However, few people know that during the period when the band was on hiatus, Le Hoang turned to business and achieved many successes.
Around 2016, when The Men's music activities slowed down, Le Hoang focused on business. He founded a company specializing in cosmetics and real estate. Before that, since 2011, he had experience investing in recording studios and real estate.
The Covid-19 pandemic brought many challenges, his company faced a 30-50% decrease in revenue and had to cut staff from 23 to just over 10 people. However, he still tried to maintain operations.
Impressive assets and investment philosophy
In 2020, Le Hoang's family moved to the fifth house on Hoa Cau Street, Cau Kieu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This property has an area of 164m², including 1 ground floor and 5 floors, with a total usable area of nearly 1,000m².
The value of this property has increased significantly over time. From the selling price of 22-26 billion VND in 2019, the house's value increased to 40 billion VND after a year. Currently, experts estimate its value could range from 65-80 billion VND.
Le Hoang shared that he used to have a passion for cars, but an experience completely changed his investment perspective. He recounted buying a Porsche and an apartment for 3 billion VND. After a year, the car lost 1 billion VND while the apartment made a profit of more than 1 billion VND. Since then, he decided to focus on investing in real estate.
A happy home and the principles of "keeping the fire" in marriage
Besides his successful career, Le Hoang has a happy family with his wife Viet Hue and two sons. Despite being busy, he and his wife always spend quality time with their family.
His family has a common routine from 7pm to 9:30pm every day. During this time, all work is put aside to focus on teaching and playing with the children. The male singer personally teaches his children Math and Vietnamese, while English is taught by an American tutor.
A special habit of the couple is the late night meal every Wednesday. This is an opportunity for them to share their problems and strengthen their relationship. Le Hoang believes that to maintain a marriage, both need to reduce their ego, trust and support each other.
When returning to music, Le Hoang feels more comfortable because there is no longer economic pressure. He believes: "Artists are happiest when they only focus on music, not calculating ticket sales, profits and losses." Despite his many achievements, he still modestly believes that he is only in the stage of building a foundation for the future.
