| This year's main theme is "Kumamon's Hometown Dream in Kumamoto." In this theme, Kumamon, the mascot bear of Kumamoto, travels to the most beautiful places in the region. The goal of this theme is to draw the attention of tourists to Kumamoto, a region devastated by the 2016 earthquake. |
