The Buckwheat Flower Festival will take place over 5 days, from November 11th to 15th.

With the aim of introducing and promoting the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark to domestic and international tourists, Ha Giang province will organize the Buckwheat Flower Festival in Dong Van district - one of the four districts in the Ha Giang Karst Plateau region (including Meo Vac, Dong Van, Yen Minh and Quan Ba ​​districts).

According to the organizers, the Buckwheat Flower Festival will take place over 5 days, from November 11th to 15th. To ensure the festival's success and effectiveness, the organizers have implemented many cultural and artistic activities related to buckwheat flowers.

Specifically, after the opening ceremony of the festival at the market in the old town of Dong Van district at 8:00 AM on November 11th, a buckwheat flower competition will take place from November 12th to 14th. The competition will be held in various communes and towns within Dong Van district and will be organized by the district's competitive groups.

The competition for planting buckwheat flowers on hillside fields will take place from 8:00 AM on November 13th. The competition will be held in 10 communes and towns of Dong Van district, including Van Chai, Pho Cao, Pho La, Sa Phin, Lung Tao, Sung La, Ma Le, Lung Cu, Thai Phin Tung, and Dong Van town. The competition format: Each participating unit will select a large area for planting flowers, creating specific shapes and forms.
