The 2025 International Tea Festival opens, setting 4 Vietnamese records.
World TEA Fest 2025 officially kicked off in Da Lat with an impressive opening night, bringing together Miss Cosmo beauty queens, many artists, and setting 4 national records.
On the evening of December 5th, the World Tea Fest 2025 officially opened at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. This is considered the largest cultural and economic event in Vietnam's tea industry to date, taking place from December 5th to 7th, 2025 in Da Lat, Bao Loc, and other typical tea-growing regions of the province.
The event was attended by former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, and leaders from central and local ministries and agencies. Representing Lam Dong province were Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi. Nearly 40 ambassadors from various countries and representatives of international organizations were also present at the opening ceremony.
Cultural highlights at the opening night.
The opening art program made a strong impression with a collaboration between singer Duong Hoang Yen, Miss Cosmo 2024 Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, and Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Xuan Hanh. Against the backdrop of the song "Hello Vietnam," over 70 Miss Cosmo 2025 contestants, dressed in traditional ao dai, created a spectacular cultural exchange scene.

The festive atmosphere was further enlivened by performances from artists such as Trang Phap, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Hung, and Duy Linh, creating a youthful and vibrant musical space.

One of the highlights of the opening night was the TEA Cosmo Carnival stage, where nearly 80 Miss Cosmo 2025 contestants showcased their Carnival Costumes. The performance presented a diverse picture of world cultures, contributing to spreading the image of Lam Dong as a destination for tea and international exchange.

The opening night concluded with a performance of the song "One Round Around Vietnam" by singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, along with the appearance of the contestants in vibrant parade costumes, creating a colorful festival ending.

Four new Vietnamese records have been recognized.
At the event, the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings) officially announced and awarded four new Vietnamese records established within the framework of the festival:
- The 1927 Old Tea Factory in Bao Loc is one of the oldest surviving tea processing facilities in Vietnam.
- The organizing unit of the International Tea Festival features the largest series of cultural, economic, and diplomatic activities.
- The "Tea Ceremony Dance" performance, featuring 1,111 tea ladies brewing and serving tea in the "Vietnamese tea ceremony" style, had the largest number of participants.
- The festival features many beauty queens and Miss Cosmo representatives from participating countries.
