Loi Pagoda is located in Hong Son hamlet, formerly part of Thuong Tan Loc commune (now Van An commune). The pagoda was built and renovated in November 2004, and officially recognized on October 18, 2022, according to Decision No. 165/QD-BTST. It serves as a cultural and spiritual center for the local people and surrounding areas.

However, the recent Typhoon No. 5 caused severe damage, leading to serious deterioration of the pagoda. On August 30, 2025, the Fatherland Front Committee of Van An commune, in coordination with the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province and Hoang Gia Phat Group, donated 99 million VND to support the pagoda in overcoming the consequences, gradually stabilizing its facilities, restoring the landscape, and ensuring a suitable space for religious activities for Buddhist followers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Father Guise Phan Van Thang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of Nghe An province, expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Nghe An province, and other relevant departments. The priest emphasized that the restoration of Loi Pagoda not only contributes to preserving spiritual and cultural heritage but also spreads the values of solidarity and compassion within the community.

The ceremony included activities praying for national peace and prosperity, and the presentation of gifts to the temple.
