Mass longevity celebration for 167 even-aged elders at Gam Pagoda
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 13 (January 9, the year of the Pig), Chi Linh Pagoda (Gam Pagoda) coordinated with Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District to solemnly organize the Spring Longevity Celebration.
Attending the ceremony were 167 elders of even age 70, 75, 80, 85, 90... residing in Xuan Thanh commune.
The ceremony took place at Chi Linh Pagoda in a cozy atmosphere, the elderly enjoyed performances celebrating Spring and longevity by the Elderly Association of Xuan Thanh Commune, the Volunteer Club of Yen Thanh District and the 2018 Voice Kids Champion Ha Quynh Nhu.

At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Tue Minh - abbot of Chi Linh pagoda happily sent New Year wishes to the elderly, emphasizing that the Spring longevity celebration is a demonstration of morality."Drink water remember the source",Filial piety of children and grandchildren towards grandparents and parents, respect of society towards the elderly, these are the beautiful features in traditional culture of Vietnamese people. Venerable wishes you good health and longevity, to be an example for your children and grandchildren.
