Singer Le Quyen has officially spoken out regarding speculation that she was subtly criticizing Ho Ngoc Ha following a recent performance incident. The singer affirmed that her social media posts were general in nature and not aimed at any particular individual.
He insisted he wasn't "teasing" his colleagues.
It all started when Le Quyen posted a message that read: "I was born to sing, I make a living from singing, and for 26 years, thankfully, I've made very few mistakes, but not none at all, just a few. It's not just singing; it's the same in any profession. Just don't make too many mistakes. Be happy and breathe easier, everyone."
Immediately afterwards, many commented that Le Quyen was alluding to Ho Ngoc Ha's live performance mishap. In response to this, Le Quyen clarified: "It's so frustrating, the post was very polite, but everyone is reacting so strongly. As I said before, everyone makes mistakes sometimes, just try not to make the same mistakes repeatedly, and if you do, learn from them. I always speak the truth; if you're not mean-spirited, you won't feel resentful, but if you're mean-spirited, you have to bear the consequences, nobody can save you."

Besides clarifying the controversy, Le Quyen also shared about her career, especially her frequent performances at tea rooms. She believes this is a stable source of income and the most accurate reflection of an artist's true appeal.
"The tea house stage is a place with a stable income from singing every week... If you want to know the true appeal of an artist, the tea house stage is the most accurate answer. There are many singers performing in tea houses, so surely every stage is crowded," she wrote. At over 40 years old, Le Quyen humorously compared herself to "a tractor that still harvests and threshes relentlessly."

Regarding the criticism that she was "past her prime," the singer gently responded: "You can say I'm still brilliant.
