Funeral byThe 4th Military Region Command is in charge.The viewing ceremony will take place from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quang Tri Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, where the remains are being kept. The memorial service and procession will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The burial will be held immediately afterward at martyrs' cemeteries or according to the wishes of each family.

Yesterday, October 19th, the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 4 signed a decision to posthumously promote the rank of...22 soldiers from the 337th Economic and National Defense Brigade were killed in action.While carrying out disaster relief duties, the 22 military personnel included 4 officers, 10 professional soldiers, and 8 enlisted men. The highest-ranking officer was a colonel.
Earlier, at 1:00 AM on October 18th, a landslide unexpectedly occurred, burying the buildings of the 337th Economic and National Defense Brigade in Cop village, Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri province). Five people were rescued, but 22 were buried. By the afternoon of October 19th, all of them had been found.
The 337th Economic and National Defense Brigade is stationed in five border communes in the particularly difficult areas of Huong Hoa district. In October, the brigade carried out disaster relief and rescue operations in its area of operation, as directed by the 4th Military Region Command and at the request of the local authorities.
