Le Tran Khanh Chi: Unexpected success with the role of Thu 'the tin can'
At the age of 12, Le Tran Khanh Chi made her film debut playing Thu 'the tin can girl' in 'One Millimeter Away From You' and was surprised by the enthusiastic reception from the audience.
Making her acting debut, 12-year-old Le Tran Khanh Chi made a strong impression with her role as Thu "the tin can girl" in the film "One Millimeter Away From You". The young actress shared that the film's success was completely unexpected and she was very happy with the warm reception from the audience.

An unexpected opportunity for my first acting role.
Khánh Chi said she came to the film by chance when she went to a casting call with a group of friends, including Ali Thục Phương (playing Tú) and Tâm Anh (playing Quyên). Although she had never attended professional acting school, only music classes, Khánh Chi was chosen by the director right after the audition.
"The director gave me a script and asked me to try acting. Luckily, I was chosen," Khánh Chi recounted. She admitted that she was initially a little nervous when first getting acquainted with the camera and having to memorize the script, but thanks to the support of the film crew, she and her friends successfully completed their roles.

Surprised by the audience's enthusiastic response.
After the film aired, the performances of the child actors received very positive feedback. Khanh Chi expressed her surprise at this effect. "I didn't think the film would be so well-received by the audience. When I read the script, I thought it was very good and I also thought the film would be well-received, but I didn't expect it to receive so much attention," she shared.
The audience's affection for the characters' childhoods is a great success for the child actors. Khanh Chi said: "I didn't think that we young actors would receive so much love from the audience. My friends and I are all very happy."

A family perspective and future orientation.
Mr. Le Trung Dung, Khanh Chi's father, said that the family did not intend for their daughter to pursue an acting career, but rather wanted her to have enjoyable experiences. "When we see that her roles are loved by the audience, the whole family feels very happy. We just let her experience things, and later, after she has experienced them, what path she chooses is her decision," Mr. Dung shared.
For her part, when asked about her plans to pursue a professional acting career, Khanh Chi said she hasn't decided yet. Currently, she is a 7th-grade student and is still focusing on her studies.

A memorable year and a multi-talented artist.
Looking back on the past year, Khanh Chi considers it a year filled with fun experiences, new friends, and new skills. Besides her debut acting role, the 2013-born girl also possesses many other artistic talents such as singing, dancing, and playing various musical instruments including guitar, piano, bass, and drums.
