(Baonghean.vn) - Life in the fishing village along the Vinh - Cua Tien coast has been precarious, fluctuating with the murky, foul-smelling water for over 40 years. Despite the hardships and difficulties, they have clung to their livelihoods.
| The fishing village is located along the Cua Tien River (in Yen Giang Hamlet, Hung Tan Ward, Vinh City). The village consists of only 7 dilapidated thatched huts belonging to 7 households, with 42 people depending on the Vinh River for their livelihood through fishing. Of the 7 households, 6 are from Quang Binh province, and the remaining one is from Ninh Binh province. |

| After each school day, Hoang Thi Tam, the daughter of Mr. Hoang Van Vuong, goes out to the river to fish and help her family. |
| In stark contrast to the quietness of the fishing village are the spacious and well-equipped houses on the other side of the river. |

| The gas stove was probably the most valuable possession in the houses of the fishing village. |
| Previously, Vinh City relocated households living in the Cua Tien fishing village back to their hometowns. However, after a short time, some households returned, continuing their precarious living conditions in the poor fishing village. In the photo: Mr. and Mrs. Hoang Van Vuong after a fishing trip. |
