The 2018 Lexus NX has been launched in the Vietnamese market.
At the VMS 2017 exhibition, the Lexus NX, a compact luxury SUV, launched a new version with upgrades in interior and exterior design and performance.
Four months after its debut at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show, the 2018 Lexus NX officially arrived in Vietnam at the VMS 2017 exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City. The version brought in was the NX 300, featuring a more powerful engine than its predecessor.

The 2018 NX features a redesigned grille with a sharper look and a three-bulb headlight system. Both the NX 300h and NX 300 F Sport versions have redesigned front air intakes and fog lights. Adding to the appeal are the new headlight cluster and the familiar LED daytime running lights. The rear boasts new accents such as thicker chrome exhaust pipes, black-bordered "L" shaped taillights, and a roof-mounted spoiler for the NX 300h. Sporty 18-inch wheels are also added as an option.
Inside, the differences are immediately apparent, with a youthful and dynamic style. The display screen has increased from 7 to 10.3 inches, and the interactive control interfaces have been improved. Almost all control buttons and switches, mode selectors, gear lever, and door handles in the 2018 NX are made of metal, with surfaces finished in a "metallic satin" style, enhancing both the visual and tactile experience for occupants. Many other details have also been adjusted to make operations easier and more convenient.

The standard NX 300 uses a 2.0L turbocharged engine, while the NX 300h uses a 2.5L four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor. Lexus also confirms that all versions will have higher power output than their predecessors.

One of the key changes in the new NX is the improvement to the steering and suspension systems. The springs, stabilizer bars, and dampers have been retuned to provide more stable and dynamic cornering. At the same time, new shock absorbers contribute to a smoother ride.
The biggest innovation remains the chassis, which is now equipped with an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system, based on the advanced system already fitted to the Lexus LC 500 luxury coupe.
