Fireworks display schedule for the April 30th, 2025 celebration in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City will hold a total of three fireworks displays during the holiday, including April 19th, April 26th, and April 30th, 2025.
Ho Chi Minh City will organize a total of three nights of fireworks displays during the holiday, including April 19th, April 26th, and April 30th, 2025.
On the evening of April 26, 2025, residents of Ho Chi Minh City will be able to enjoy a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display at Saigon Riverfront Park, Thu Duc City.
The firing site on April 26th consisted of only one high-altitude firing position in the riverside area, creating a dazzling spectacle along the Saigon River at night.
The event, which took place from 9:30 PM to 9:40 PM, was part of a series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
Locals and tourists can go to the area along Bach Dang Wharf to watch live, but they should arrive early because large crowds gather.
Additionally, cafes and restaurants in high-rise buildings near the Saigon River are also ideal choices for watching fireworks in a comfortable, uncrowded setting. However, due to high demand, it's advisable to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment.

Besides the fireworks displays, Ho Chi Minh City also organized general rehearsals for the state-level military parade and procession on Le Duan Street (District 1) at two times: the evening of April 25th (8 PM to 11 PM) and the morning of April 27th (7 AM to 12 PM).
On April 30th, a large-scale official parade and march will be held along the route from Nguyen Binh Khiem through Le Duan to the Independence Palace, with the participation of over 13,000 people from the armed forces and representatives of the people.
On the evening of the same day, at 8 PM, there will be a special parade and cavalry performance organized by the Ministry of Public Security, moving along the Ton Duc Thang – Nguyen Hue – Le Loi route.
From 9 PM to 9:15 PM on April 30th, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to organize high-altitude fireworks displays at two major locations: the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi District), along with 28 low-altitude fireworks displays scattered across other districts and communes in the city.
