Fireworks display schedule for the April 30th, 2025 celebration in Tra Vinh.

On the evening of April 28th, Tra Vinh province will host a drone light show and artistic fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country. This is the largest-scale event ever held in the locality.

According to information from the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, the ceremony will be attended by approximately 1,500 delegates from within and outside the province. The delegates will participate in laying flowers and offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee will also announce the Prime Minister's Decision recognizing Tra Vinh's completion of the new rural development program and the awarding of the Ho Chi Minh Order. The highlight of the program is a celebratory ceremony combined with a theatrical performance, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam, the 125th anniversary of the founding of Tra Vinh province, and the 65th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Tra Vinh and Thai Binh.

For the first time in Tra Vinh, drone light show technology will be used in performances featuring 11 distinctive images representing the close bond between Tra Vinh and Thai Binh provinces. This strong relationship is also alluded to in the famous song "Two Sisters" by composer Hoang Van.

The program will conclude with a low-altitude fireworks display. The official ceremony begins at 6 PM on April 28th at the Tra Vinh Provincial Convention Center. The drone light and fireworks show is scheduled to start at 10:15 PM and last approximately 15 minutes.
