Hanoi's road closure schedule on October 15th is from 13:00 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 18:00, with traffic restricted on many central streets, and vehicles being directed to alternative routes.

From October 15th to 17th, the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Party Committee, for the 2025-2030 term, will be held at the National Convention Center. To ensure traffic order and safety, the Hanoi City Police are implementing a traffic diversion plan and organizing routes for all types of vehicles during the event.

The police force has implemented a temporary ban on the following roads:

Temporary ban period fromOn October 15, 2025, the regulations apply from 13:00 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 18:00.

A temporary ban is in place for trucks with a design gross weight of 1.5 tons or more, and passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more; restrictions are also applied to other vehicles operating on certain roads including: Duy Tan, Pham Van Bach, Tran Thai Tong, Duong Dinh Nghe, and Pham Hung (from Me Tri to Thang Long Boulevard).

Next are Tran Duy Hung Street, Do Duc Duc Street, Mieu Dam Street, and the Thang Long Boulevard service road (from Pham Hung Street to the overpass on Provincial Road 70).

Alternative route on October 15, 2025, Hanoi

During the period of road closures and vehicle restrictions, the Hanoi City Police have organized the following routes for vehicles:

Directions from Thang Long Bridge to Thang Long Boulevard: Follow the route Pham Van Dong – Ho Tung Mau – Cau Dien – National Highway 32 – Provincial Road 70 – Thang Long Boulevard and vice versa.

Directions from Thang Long Bridge to Thanh Tri Bridge: follow the elevated section of Ring Road 3 and vice versa.
