Traffic restrictions and bans will be in place on many roads in Hanoi from August 7th to August 10th, 2025, to facilitate activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
Hanoi will ban vehicles on many streets from August 7th to 10th to facilitate major commemorative activities.
On the afternoon of August 6th, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police announced that it will implement traffic bans and restrictions on many central streets from August 7th to 10th to facilitate activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day on September 2nd, and the "For a Peaceful Capital" festival.
These roads are completely closed during specific hours.

Hanoi has temporarily banned cargo vehicles weighing 500kg or more, and passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more, except for buses, garbage trucks, official vehicles, and vehicles with security badges.
