Reasons for power outages in Hanoi this week (March 30 - April 5)
According to the Hanoi Power Corporation, the power outages this week are mainly for repair, maintenance, and upgrading of the power grid and for regulating system operation according to plan.
Many areas experienced power outages for transmission line transfers, substation inspections, line maintenance, technical repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of the power grid. These power interruptions mostly occurred during the day, concentrated in residential areas, neighborhoods, urban areas, production facilities, businesses, schools, and some infrastructure projects.
In addition to planned power outages, some areas have also been updated with postponed power outage status, indicating that power supply plans may be adjusted depending on load demand and actual operating conditions.
