Power outage schedule for Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces from January 26th to February 1st, 2026.
The Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN) has announced a plan to temporarily suspend electricity supply in areas of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces from January 26th to February 1st for grid maintenance.
According to the latest announcement from the Power Company, during the week from January 26th to February 1st, 2026, many areas in Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces will experience rotational power outages. These power cuts are being implemented to facilitate testing, maintenance, and upgrading of the medium- and low-voltage power grid, ensuring safe operation of the system.
Reasons for the planned power outage.
The power outages in some areas are primarily for testing, routine inspections, and repairs of technical defects in the power grid. This is a necessary activity to limit the occurrence of incidents and meet the increasing load demand. The power sector will strive to restore power as soon as possible if conditions permit.

Tien Hai area
- 26/01:Rotating power outages will occur at Dong Phong 5 Substation, Nam Trung 9 Substation, and Dong Minh Substation from 07:30 to 16:30.
- 27/01:The substations at Nam Ha Industrial Park, Nam Tien Hai commune (06:00 - 09:00); Van Truong 12 and Van Truong 8 substations (07:30 - 11:30); and Nam Ha 3 and Nam Hong 12 substations (13:30 - 16:30).
- 28/01:Parts of Ai Quoc commune, Tay Tien Hai commune, Bac Hai 3 substation, and Dong Trung commune will experience power outages from 06:00 to 16:30.
Hung Ha area
In Hung Ha district, power outages will be concentrated in Tien La and Long Hung communes on January 26th. On January 27th and 28th, the affected area will expand to Dien Ha, Hung Ha, Hong Minh, and Than Khe communes, with outages occurring at various times from early morning to late afternoon.
Kien Xuong area
- 26/01:A portion of Kien Xuong commune experienced a power outage from 05:30 to 12:30.

Khoai Chau area
The power outage schedule in Khoai Chau lasts throughout the week. Notably, Trieu Viet Vuong commune has a continuous power outage schedule from January 27th to February 2nd, between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Other communes such as Chi Minh, Viet Tien, and Chau Ninh also have scattered power outages from January 26th to February 1st.
My Hao and Van Giang areas
- My Hao:My Hao ward and Duong Hao ward were affected on January 26th (06:30 - 17:00); Thuong Hong ward on January 28th (07:00 - 10:00).
- Van Giang:Nong Truong village, Ba Khe (January 26); Ngo village, Phung Cong commune (January 27); Lai Oc village, Nghia Tru commune (January 28); Dan Kim and Dan Nhiem villages (January 29-30).
Yen My area
Yen My District is experiencing frequent power outages in many villages such as Lieu Xa, Do Xa, Thuy Trang, Trung Hoa, Thien Loc, and Dong My. The power cuts mainly occur from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM daily from January 26th to January 31st.
