According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, from August 13th to 5 PM on August 20th, universities will upload candidates' admission data to the system, including high school graduation exam scores, results of individual exams, and academic transcripts. The Ministry of Education and Training will also process the data to determine the highest-ranked application that candidates are eligible for.
At exactly 5 PM on August 20th, educational institutions will enter the admission scores and selection results, and conduct a review before announcing the results of the first round of admissions. From the afternoon of the same day, schools can begin announcing the cut-off scores, no later than 5 PM on August 22nd.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology is expected to announce the admission scores on the afternoon of August 20th.

Based on the score distribution and admission data from previous years, Hanoi University of Science and Technology anticipates that the admission scores for its regular undergraduate programs in 2025 will range from 19 to 28 points.
The group of majors with high admission scores includes: Computer Engineering, Information Technology (Global ICT), Digital Space Security (advanced program), Control and Automation Engineering, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology, Vietnam-Japan Information Technology… with expected scores ranging from 26.5 to 28 points.
Some majors may have lower admission scores, around 19 points, such as Business Administration (in collaboration with Troy University), Resource and Environmental Management, and Chinese for Science, Technology and Engineering.
