National Day Holiday Schedule September 2, 2024
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers will have the National Day holiday in 2024 from Saturday, August 31 to Tuesday, September 3.
The 2024 National Day holiday lasts 4 days, including 2 National Day holidays and 2 weekly days off.
For employees not belonging to administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, or socio-political organizations, the employer decides to choose the option to take the National Day holiday in 2024.
Accordingly, during the National Day holiday, employers choose 1 of 2 days: Sunday, September 1 or Tuesday, September 3.
Employers must notify employees of the 2024 National Day holiday plan at least 30 days before implementation.
