Hanoi students' holiday schedule for the Gregorian and Lunar New Year in 2025.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has announced the schedule for the New Year's Day and Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake) holidays in 2025 for students in the city as follows:
1. New Year's Day Holiday Schedule 2025
Students of all levels, from preschool, primary, middle school to high school, will have a single day off on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
2. Lunar New Year Holiday Schedule 2025
The Lunar New Year holiday will last for 9 consecutive days, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (26th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (5th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Snake).

3. Requirements and notes from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training
Schools need to inform all staff, teachers, and students about the Tet holiday schedule, while also strengthening education on law compliance and civilized behavior during the holiday.
Students were reminded to comply with traffic safety regulations, maintain public order and security, and refrain from using fireworks illegally.
The school must assign personnel to be on duty and protect the facilities throughout the Tet holiday, ensuring safety and security.
This Tet holiday schedule not only allows students time to relax and reunite with their families but also creates conditions for them to welcome the new year in joy and safety. The Department of Education and Training also recommends that parents cooperate with schools in managing and guiding their children to comply with general regulations during the holiday period.
