2025 Lunar New Year and New Year Holiday Schedule for Hanoi Students
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has announced the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays in 2025 for students in the city as follows:
1. New Year Holiday Schedule 2025
Students at all levels, from preschool, elementary, middle school to high school, will have only one day off on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
2. Lunar New Year Holiday Schedule 2025
The Lunar New Year holiday lasts for 9 consecutive days, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (December 26, year of the Dragon) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (January 5, year of the Snake).

3. Requirements and notes from Hanoi Department of Education and Training
Schools need to announce the Tet holiday schedule to all staff, teachers and students, and at the same time strengthen education on law compliance and civilized lifestyle during the holiday.
Students are reminded to comply with traffic safety and security regulations, as well as not to use illegal fireworks.
The school must assign staff to be on duty and protect the facilities during the Tet holiday, ensuring safety and security.
This Tet holiday not only gives students time to relax and reunite with their families, but also creates conditions for them to welcome the new year in joy and safety. The Department of Education and Training also recommends that parents cooperate with the school in managing and guiding their children to follow general regulations during the holiday.
