Khánh Hòa students' Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2026.

The Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province has issued a document guiding the Lunar New Year holiday schedule for the year 2026 (Year of the Horse) for educational institutions in the province.

Accordingly,Students of all levels in Khanh Hoa will have a Lunar New Year holiday from February 12, 2026 to February 22, 2026., corresponding fromFrom the 25th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake (1945) to the 6th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Horse (1946)Therefore, the total Tet holiday time for students is11 consecutive daysThis includes the officially mandated Tet holiday period and weekly days off.

For civil servants, public employees, and workers in the education sector of Khanh Hoa province, the Tet holiday period will be implemented from...February 14, 2026 (27th day of the 12th lunar month)until the endFebruary 22, 2026 (6th day of the first lunar month).

Along with announcing the Tet holiday schedule, the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training requested that units and schools strengthen the dissemination and education of students to strictly comply with the regulations of the law during the Lunar New Year and Spring Festival season of 2026, especially the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

Furthermore, educational institutions need to strictly enforce regulations on the management and use of fireworks; improve skills in preventing accidents and injuries; prevent social vices; ensure safety in cyberspace, food safety and hygiene, environmental hygiene, and disease prevention and control.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also requested schools to organize practical, safe, and economical activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year; and to implement solutions to ensure the correct execution of the 2025-2026 school year plan before and after the Lunar New Year holiday.
