(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 10th, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Cooperative Union, 4th term, and the entire staff of the agency, led by Comrade Le Phuc An - Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union, offered incense and reported their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Comrade Le Phuc An, Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union, on behalf of the entire agency, respectfully laid a beautiful wreath of flowers before the statue of President Ho Chi Minh.

Before the sacred image of President Ho Chi Minh, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union and its staff pledged to strive for excellence in their operations, stay close to the grassroots, and promptly propose to the province the issuance of policies and mechanisms, as well as resolve difficulties and obstacles, in order to ensure continued positive growth of the province's collective economic sector during the 2016-2021 term.

The goal is that by 2021, 70-80% of cooperatives in the entire cooperative sector will be rated as good or excellent, with the percentage of weak cooperatives reduced to below 5%. The average annual income of cooperative managers, members, and workers will increase by 10-15%. By 2021, the average income will reach 5-6 million VND/person/month. The economic growth rate in the cooperative, small-scale handicraft, and traditional village sectors will reach 7-7.5% per year; the value of small-scale handicraft and traditional village production will reach 4,200-4,500 billion VND by 2021.

The staff of the Provincial Cooperative Union pledged to Uncle Ho that they would unite and work together to further develop the collective economic sector of the province.

Create regular jobs in cooperatives and craft villages for 30,000 to 35,000 people, including 6,000 to 8,000 new jobs.

The goal is that by 2021, over 80% of cooperative managers will have a college degree or higher, and 100% of cooperative staff will receive training in management and professional skills related to cooperatives and relevant laws.
