According to the case file, at approximately 4:00 AM on November 28, 2016, in the Muong Tip commune area of ​​Ky Son district, two cows were found roaming freely without supervision. Xong Xai Gio (born in 1981), residing in Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district, stole the two cows and sold them to traders.

After learning that his illegal activities had been discovered by the Ky Son District Police, Xong Xai Gio fled the area. On February 9, 2017, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ky Son District Police issued an arrest warrant for Xong Xai Gio for the crime of theft.

After escaping, to evade the police, Xong Xai Gio constantly changed his residence before illegally crossing the border into Laos. There, to create a cover and avoid suspicion, he presented himself as a hardworking laborer, doing various jobs such as loading and unloading goods and assisting in construction, barely making ends meet. However, "the net of justice may be wide, but it is hard to escape," and all of Gio's movements did not escape the watchful eyes of the Ky Son District Police.

After gathering all relevant documents and evidence, the Ky Son District Police recently successfully arrested Xong Xai Gio while he was hiding in a makeshift camp deep in the forest in Laos. Although Xong Xai Gio fiercely resisted during the arrest, the Ky Son District Police, with their unwavering commitment to combating crime, successfully apprehended the suspect, ensuring the safety of the officers involved.

Previously, the police force of Ky Son district also successfully arrested Xong Ba Nhia after 9 years.fugitives wanted by the policeAccording to the investigation documents, at approximately 7 PM on January 16, 2014, Xong Ba Nhia was driving a Yamaha motorcycle with license plate 37N1-1682 on National Highway 7A, heading from Muong Xen town, Ky Son district to Hoa Binh town, Tuong Duong district, when he collided with a motorcycle driven by Mr. LBT (born in 1996), residing in Block 5, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district. As a result, despite being taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, Mr. T. later died.

On September 17, 2014, the Ky Son District Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute Xong Ba Nhia for violating regulations on controlling road traffic vehicles; simultaneously, they issued an arrest warrant for him for temporary detention. However, Xong Ba Nhia fled the area, so on December 10, 2014, the Ky Son District Police issued a wanted notice for Nhia.

Initially, Xong Ba Nhia lived in hiding in abandoned huts in the mountains. Later, Nhia fled to Laos. To avoid detection, Xong Ba Nhia cut off contact with his family and worked as a hired farmhand for the local people. Under the guise of a man who worked silently during the day and stayed in makeshift houses at night, Nhia aroused no suspicion among the surrounding residents. Only when Xong Ba Nhia was arrested by the Ky Son District Police did the people learn that Nhia was a wanted fugitive.

Around the same time, another task force from the Ky Son District Police successfully apprehended Xong Chong Go while he was hiding in Kham Cot District, Bolikhamsai Province (Laos). According to the case file, in late 2016, Xong Chong Go illegally felled 5 Pơ Mu trees (with a volume of 12.579 m³) in the protected forest area of ​​Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district. After gathering sufficient documents and evidence, the Ky Son District Police decided to initiate criminal proceedings and indict Xong Chong Go for violating regulations on forest exploitation and protection. However, Xong Chong Go fled, so the Ky Son District Police issued an arrest warrant.

After discovering that Xong Chong Go was hiding in Kham Khet district, Bolikhamsai province (Laos), the Ky Son District Police coordinated with the Kham Khet District Police to successfully arrest him.

Currently, the Ky Son District Police are finalizing the case files to prosecute the suspects according to the law.
