Successfully arrested 3 fugitives

According to the case file, at about 4:00 a.m. on November 28, 2016, in Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, Xong Xai Gio (born in 1981), residing in Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district, discovered two cows roaming free without anyone watching them. He stole the two cows and then sold them to traders.

After learning that his illegal behavior was discovered by the Ky Son District Police, Xong Xai Gio fled the area. On February 9, 2017, the Ky Son District Police Investigation Agency issued a wanted notice for Xong Xai Gio for theft of property.

After escaping, to avoid the police, Xong Xai Gio continuously changed his residence, then illegally crossed the border to Laos. Here, to create a cover for himself, not to be suspected by people around him, Xong Xai Gio showed himself to be a hard worker, doing many jobs such as porter, construction worker... to make a living. However, "the net of heaven is sparse but hard to escape", all of Gio's movements could not escape the sight of the Ky Son District Police.

After having all the relevant documents and evidence, recently, Ky Son District Police successfully arrested Xong Xai Gio when he was hiding in a camp deep in the forest in Laos. Although during the arrest, Xong Xai Gio fiercely resisted, with the spirit of attacking and suppressing crime to the end, Ky Son District Police successfully arrested the subject, ensuring the safety of the functional forces.

Previously, the Ky Son District Police force also successfully arrested Xong Ba Nhia after 9 years.fugitivesAccording to the investigation documents, at about 7:00 p.m. on January 16, 2014, Xong Ba Nhia was driving a Yamaha motorbike with license plate 37N1-1682 on National Highway 7A from Muong Xen town, Ky Son district to Hoa Binh town, Tuong Duong district, when he crashed into a motorbike driven by Mr. LBT (born in 1996), residing in Block 5, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district. As a result, although he was taken to the emergency room, Mr. T. died later.

On September 17, 2014, Ky Son District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Xong Ba Nhia for violating regulations on road traffic control; and at the same time issued an arrest warrant for the accused. However, Xong Ba Nhia fled the locality, so on December 10, 2014, Ky Son District Police issued a wanted notice for Nhia.

At first, Xong Ba Nhia lived in hiding in abandoned huts on the mountain. Then, Nhia fled to Laos. In order to avoid being discovered, Xong Ba Nhia cut off contact with his family and worked as a hired farmhand for the local people. With the cover of a man who only knew how to work during the day and stay in a temporary house at night, Nhia did not arouse any suspicion from the people living around. It was not until Xong Ba Nhia was arrested by the Ky Son District Police that the people knew that Nhia was a wanted person.

Also during this time, another working group of Ky Son District Police successfully arrested Xong Chong Go when he was hiding in Kham Cot District, Bolykhamxay Province (Laos). According to the case file, at the end of 2016, Xong Chong Go illegally exploited 5 po mu trees (with a volume of 12.579m3) in the protective forest area in Na Ngoi Commune, Ky Son District. After collecting all the documents and evidence, Ky Son District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Xong Chong Go for violating regulations on forest exploitation and protection. However, Xong Chong Go escaped, so Ky Son District Police issued a wanted notice.

After discovering Xong Chong Go hiding in Kham Cot district, Bolikhamxay province (Laos), Ky Son district police coordinated with Kham Cot district police to successfully arrest this subject.

Currently, Ky Son District Police are completing the documents to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
