After pushing Duong "the Muscle" down a ravine, his henchmen relentlessly hunted down the two brothers Hong (Doan Quoc Dam) and Khuong (Duy Hung), forcing them to flee into the forest to find their way back to Moc village. While resting along the way, Duong "the Muscle"'s henchmen tracked them down.

Meanwhile, the district police are also investigating the sudden disappearance of Duong "the Muscle Man". Long (Ha Viet Dung) did not inform his superiors when he left, causing his subordinates to be confused and suspicious.
Phùng (Bảo Anh) and his teammates predict possible scenarios. He says: "Dương 'the Muscle' disappearing is a serious matter for Quân 'the Old Man,' so when he hears the news, he'll act immediately. It's possible that Long's disappearance is to carry out some secret operation."
In this episode, Quân "the old man" also reappears, discussing drug trafficking with village chief Cừ (People's Artist Bùi Bài Bình) after Lê Toàn (Meritorious Artist Hoàng Hải) passed away. Cừ frankly states: "I don't like beating around the bush. I know what it is, so I'll be direct. On the right day and time, someone will come to pick up the goods and deliver them to the location you specify. There will be no contact between you and me. If we get caught, there will be no clues. This time we can only transport a small amount because I only have a few trustworthy people left."
Hearing this, Quân "the old man" became suspicious: "That sounds dangerous. It could be a police informant. If we're going to do it, we have to do it properly, at least half a ton."
In episode 13, Tuyet gradually realizes she is just a pawn in Dung "the Glasses"'s hands. Dung continues to manipulate Tuyet's psychology by promising to protect her: "The more secure my position, the better I can protect you," Dung says.
Tuyết replied, "I understand. What do you need me to do now?" Dũng answered, "I need you to spread the word about the gambling incident the other day. You need to do this very skillfully so that everyone believes the gamblers are Hưng 'Khẹc's' men." Will Tuyết be blinded by her love for Dũng and continue to sacrifice herself to help him?

"The Lone Path" tells the story of Hong, an unfortunate child who lost both parents and his only remaining relative, as he seeks justice for his family. After this great tragedy, Hong becomes a homeless wanderer and is taken in by Mrs. Moc, the second wife of Le Toan, a former gangster who has since retired. Toan trusts Hong and chooses him to manage the Le family's business empire.
While investigating the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects Mr. Toan is connected to three dangerous drug lords. Hong is drawn into a battle between gratitude and suspicion, between good and evil, as he continues his search for the truth.
While Hong was tracking the drug lords, he was unaware that all his actions, as well as those of his criminal group, were under the surveillance of the police. Lieutenant Colonel Long, the head of the drug investigation department, had been transferred from the province to serve as deputy to Phung, the district police chief; he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realized Hong was a crucial element in the investigation and decided to use her as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long moved closer to the "kingpins" and the secret drug bunker. As they delved deeper into their goal, Long and Hong discovered that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial gains lay a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude," where "friendship" turned into "hostility" between people who once considered each other brothers and comrades on the same front...
The film centers around Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the conspiracy of those who, for money, spread "white death" (heroin) throughout society. The film helps viewers better understand the police force – those who silently sacrifice themselves, facing dangers to protect the peace of the nation.
