Years ago, before heading out to sea, Hung "the hoarse" (Meritorious Artist Chi Trung) left a declaration that Quan "the old man" (Meritorious Artist Vinh Xuong) could never forget: "I will return after you die and take back everything you stole from me." Despite this, Quan still told himself: "It's a pity you won't live to see that day."
Recently, when Le Toan returned to May village, he wanted both Quan "the old man" and Hung "the hoarse" to sit down together. But before he could do this, Le Toan passed away. Now, Hung "the hoarse" has officially returned to May village and declared: "We must reclaim May village, reclaim the best territory for development."
So, is the Cloud Village still the territory of the "old man" Quân?
Earlier, Quân "the old man" narrowly escaped being attacked by a female assassin, but luckily he discovered it in time. Quân suspected that this assassin was working for Hưng "the hoarse".
Meanwhile, Dung "Kinh" – a subordinate of Quan "Gia" – planned to force Hong and Khuong to replace Le Toan in transporting this shipment of narcotics. Dung installed a GPS tracker on the car of Trinh "the Professor" – a close assistant at Toan Lam company and the only person Hong trusted. Thanks to the tracker, Dung kidnapped Trinh and Mrs. Moc – the mother of Hong and Khuong.
While Hong and Khuong were on the run, Dung used Mrs. Moc's phone to call Hong. Knowing that her mother and Trinh were being held captive by Dung, Hong immediately decided: "I will be in May village tonight."
However, Dung wanted both Hong and Khuong to come.
So, will Quân "the old man" try to force the two brothers Hồng and Khương to transport a large shipment for him?
In the preview for episode 15 of the series "The Lone Path," Long (Ha Viet Dung) – the deputy head of the district police – finds Hong (Doan Quoc Dam). Long learns that the coffin Hong is buried in only contains the clothes and belongings of his adoptive father. Long informs them that Hong and his brother are suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of Duong "the muscleman" and requests that both of them come to the police station for questioning.

"The Lone Path" tells the story of Hong, an unfortunate child who lost both parents and his only remaining relative, as he seeks justice for his family. After this great tragedy, Hong becomes a homeless wanderer and is taken in by Mrs. Moc, the second wife of Le Toan, a former gangster who has since retired. Toan trusts Hong and chooses him to manage the Le family's business empire.
While investigating the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects Mr. Toan is connected to three dangerous drug lords. Hong is drawn into a battle between gratitude and suspicion, between good and evil, as he continues his search for the truth.
While Hong was tracking the drug lords, he was unaware that all his actions, as well as those of his criminal group, were under the surveillance of the police. Lieutenant Colonel Long, the head of the drug investigation department, had been transferred from the province to serve as deputy to Phung, the district police chief; he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realized Hong was a crucial element in the investigation and decided to use her as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long moved closer to the "kingpins" and the secret drug bunker. As they delved deeper into their goal, Long and Hong discovered that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial gains lay a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude," where "friendship" turned into "hostility" between people who once considered each other brothers and comrades on the same front...
The film centers around Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the conspiracy of those who, for money, spread "white death" (heroin) throughout society. The film helps viewers better understand the police force – those who silently sacrifice themselves, facing dangers to protect the peace of the nation.
