Years ago, before leaving for the sea, Hung "khec" (Meritorious Artist Chi Trung) left a declaration that Quan "gia" (Meritorious Artist Vinh Xuong) could not forget: "I will come back after you die and take back what you stole from me." Even so, Quan still told himself: "It's a pity you won't live until then."
Recently, when Le Toan returned to May village, he wanted both Quan "old" and Hung "khech" to sit together. But before he could do this, Le Toan passed away. Now, Hung "khech" officially returned to May village and declared: "We must take back May village, take back the best area for development."
So, is May village still the territory of "old" Quan?
Before that, "old" Quan was almost attacked by a female assassin, but luckily he discovered it in time. Quan suspected that this assassin was one of Hung "khech"'s men.
Meanwhile, Dung "glasses" - Quan "old"'s junior - planned to force Hong and Khuong to replace Mr. Le Toan to transport the white goods this time. Dung installed a GPS on the car of Trinh "professor" - Toan Lam company's close assistant and also the only person Hong trusted. However, Dung wanted both Hong and Khuong to come.

In the introduction to episode 15 of Doc Dao, Long (Ha Viet Dung) – Deputy Chief of District Police – found Hong (Doan Quoc Dam). Long knew that in the coffin where Hong was buried, there were only clothes and belongings of his adoptive father. Long informed that Hong and his brothers were under suspicion of being involved in the kidnapping of Duong "muscle" and asked both of them to go to the police station for questioning.

“The Unique Path” tells the story of Hong’s journey to find justice for his family – an unfortunate child who lost both his parents and his only relative, his younger brother. While Hong was following the bosses, he did not know that all his actions as well as those of the criminal group were under the police's surveillance. Lieutenant Colonel Long - Head of the Drug Investigation Department was transferred from the province to work as deputy to Phung - Head of the District Police; at the same time, he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realizes that Hong is an important factor in the investigation and decides to use Hong as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long gets closer to the "bosses" and the location of the secret drug bunker. As they delve deeper into their target, Long and Hong realize that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial benefits is a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude", "familiarity" turned into "hostility" between people who considered each other brothers, comrades on the same front...
The film focuses on Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the plots of those who spread "white death" to society for money. The film helps viewers better understand the police force - those who silently sacrifice themselves, risk their lives to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
